Impact: Contributed to Vantage, an EV concept highlighting global supply chain impacts. Designed the vehicle and created its commercial using Blender. View the project live here.
Role: Led the conceptualization and design of the car, working with the research team to align with global supply chain insights. Utilized CAD modeling and 3D rendering to visualize the design. Collaborated closely with the team to deliver the project.
Context
In the summer of 2022, I went to Chicago to embark on an internship with Macropolo, where I was involved in a project called Vantage, an electric vehicle (EV) car concept. Vantage is designed to demonstrate the profound impact of EV supply chains on mobility, pricing, and consumer choices. During my internship, I played a key role in shaping this innovative project, collaborating closely with the Macropolo team to bring Vantage to life.
Project objectives
Our objective was to create an electric vehicle with a futuristic and sleek design reminiscent of brands like Tesla and Lucid. It was essential to offer users two distinct versions of the car: one equipped with a solar roof and another without. This choice allowed users to customize their own EV, explore the origins of their electric vehicle components, and access detailed information about each component's source and impact.

Using Blender
I categorized segments from each research session according to pertinent themes, leveraging Dovetail's AI Cluster feature for streamlined organization. This efficiency significantly expedited our analysis and synthesis, sparing us the labor-intensive task of manual affinity mapping that would typically be required.
